ESACT Courses 2024

Applications are open now until 15 June 2024!

This year we are planning to run the ESACT courses again on site in Llafranc (Spain).

There is a maximum number of participants for each course (30 participants) to encourage interaction between lecturers and participants. We will also maintain small group work during the courses to facilitate interaction. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our courses again!

North West Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Catalyst (IBIC) launch event – May 9th

Registration for the launch North West Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Catalyst (IBIC), taking place on 9 May 2024 at Circle Square, Manchester is now open. This will be followed by an afternoon workshop, focusing on the current challenges and opportunities within Industrial Biotechnology and where we will launch our inaugural innovation funding schemes.

The Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Catalyst will consolidate the North West of England as a world-leading ecosystem for the Industrial Biotechnology sector, through knowledge exchange and innovation activities, to accelerate the translation of industrial biotechnology discovery across key sectors, including pharmaceuticals, value added chemicals, engineering materials and next generation fuels.

Call for ACTIP Fellowship Awards 2024

ACTIP is an independent non-profit association of European companies and institutions engaged in the industrial use of advanced cell technology for research, development and/or production of biotherapeutics. Its main objectives are to bring cell technology experts together for networking, stay up to date on cutting-edge developments and focus on technological and applied-oriented challenges for the industrial use of cell technology
Eligible candidates for this Fellowship award opportunity must be under the age of 36, possess an academic degree in a field relevant to biomanufacturing, and be located in Europe. To apply for the award, candidates must complete the application form available on the ACTIP website (www.actip.org/fellowship/)
