BioProNet held a very successful sandpit meeting on June 4th and 5th June 2014 in Manchester.
Several key themes were identified at this meeting that could form the basis of workshops and funding….
BioProNET is funding eight workshops that cover the following themes:
- Continuous processing
- Microalgae and plant-expressed therapeutics
- Analytics and formulation – predicting expression and stability
- Post-translational modifications – application of synthetic biology, tools and technologies
- Protein authenticity and mistranslation
- Novel scale-down approaches
- Cell-free expression systems
- Whole genome tools and their application
